Interior Photography Workshop in Chicago, Illinois

WHAT TO EXPECT

An Interior Photography Workshop will be hosted by Aimée on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023. Blending her love of hospitality with interior photography, the workshop will be a day-long intimate hosted experience from 9am–6pm.

Set in a beautiful private home just outside of Chicago – the workshop will include breakfast & a conversational lunch between interior stylist, photographer & client. The day will conclude with a late afternoon cocktail hour hosted on the most spectacular terrace offering a moment to connect.

When I was just 16, my grandfather, a Chicago Tribune photojournalist, got me my first professional photography job. Growing up around art and photography, I found a calling in the reflection of beauty. My passion for interiors and photography naturally collided and what has come from there has been a natural and intuitive building of a business I love. 

I reflect often on what my grandfather gave to me, opening a door and letting light into an area I did not yet know my gifting for. As my career has grown, I have developed a desire to give back to budding photographers, honing their skills and finding their eye. 

I began teaching virtually in early 2023 and have come to deeply enjoy it. This workshop will be the first in person experience I have offered, and I cannot wait to meet you all.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

This comprehensive workshop will cover everything you need to know about operating an interior photography business. We will dive into topics from pre production to post production with a live in home photo shoot with an interior stylist, focusing on shooting with natural light. We will also discuss business strategy, intuitive creating and professional growth.

FAQs

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is due to secure your seat at the workshop. The remaining 50% balance will be invoiced on Friday September 8th.

  • The workshop is being hosted in a private residence owned by one of Aimée’s beautiful clients. The home is in Evanston, Illinois – just outside of Chicago. Address will be provided upon receipt of balance payment.

  • No photography equipment is required for the workshop, just bring yourself!

  • Each attendee will receive a 30 minute photo chat with Aimée to review work taken following the workshop. Attendees will also have access to a private online community following the workshop to keep in touch and continuing learning together.

  • There are two airports located in Chicago–

    O’Hare Airport (approx. 15 miles away)

    Midway Airport (approx. 25 miles away).
